Reiki is a Japanese relaxation technique that allows that body to relax in such a way that it heals itself. The word “Reiki” (pronouncd raykee) comes from the Japanese word “Rei” which means universal life and “Ki”which means energy.

What Happens During A Reiki Session?
After welcoming you and ensuring COVID protocols have been met, we talk about what you would like to address during the Reiki session. I then invite you into the Reiki room where you'll lie fully clothed on a massage table. During the Reiki session, I place my hands in a series of positions from the crown of the head to the feet. Reiki then passes through me to you.

Many experience tingling, warmth, and sometimes cold. During the treatment your body enters a deeply relaxed state at which time the parasympathetic nervous system becomes activated to heal the body and mind. Clients often fall in and out of sleep or feel as though they are in a deep meditative state. Sometimes clients have amazing daydreams!
